Dihydroterpinyl acetate is a colorless liquid, almost insoluble in water, soluble in alcohol and oils. Sp.Gr. 0.94. Fresh-piney, citrusy and somewhat herbaceous odor. Sweeter and fruitier than Terpinyl acetate, the Dihydro terpinylacetate seems to be cool and warm at the same time (minty-camphoraceous, herbaceous). Its tenacity is not very outstanding.??
Has apparently not been reported to occur in nature.?? ??
