Synthesis of 2-bromo-N-(4-ethylphenyl)acetamide: 10 ml solution of prepared 10% sodium carbonate was added in a neat round bottom flask of 250ml. Then 0.1 ml of 4-ethyl phenyl amine was added with the help of pipette and shaken gently to mix it. Acid was added slowly and again shake to obtain precipitates. Filter it on getting precipitates. Dry it and check its purity. The solid product was then calculated and saved properly. |
