2-(Azido-PEG2-amido)-1,3-propandiol is a branched PEG derivtive containing terminal azide moieties and two primary alcohol groups. The azide group can participate in copper-catalyzed Click Chemistry reactions with alkyne, DBCO and BCN moieties. The hydroxyl groups can react to further derivatize the compound. PEG linker increases solubility of compounds in aqueous media.
