生物活性

Curzerene 是倍半萜，從 Curculigo orchioides Gaertn 的根莖中分離出來的，具有抗癌活性。 Curzerene 抑制谷胱甘肽 S-轉(zhuǎn)移酶 A1 (GSTA1) mRNA 和蛋白表達(dá)。Curzerene 誘導(dǎo)細(xì)胞凋亡 (apoptosis)。

體外研究

Curzerene (0-100 μM; 24-72 hours) indicates that cell inhibition increases in a dose- and time-dependent manner, IC ₅₀ to SPC A1 cells at 24, 48, and 72 h was 403.8 μM, 154.8 μM, and 47.01 μM, respectively. Curzerene (0-100 μM; 48 hours) exhibits a higher percentage of apoptotic and necrotic cells than that of the control group in SPC-A1cells. Curzerene(0-100 μM; 48 hours) indicates that the percentage of cells arrested in the G2/M phase increased from 9.26% in the control group cells to 17.57% in the cells treated with the highest dose. Curzerene (6.25-100 μM; 48 hours) decreases the mRNA expression of GSTA1 in SPC A1 cells. Curzerene (6.25-100 μM; 48 hours) decreases the protein expression of GSTA1 in SPC A1 cells.
