Characteristics
Rubber accelerator DPTT(TRA) is non-toxic and odorless, soluble in chloroform, benzene, acetone, carbon disulfide, slightly soluble in gasoline and carbon tetrachloride, and insoluble in water and dilute alkali.
Applications
It is fast-speed accelerator for NR, EPDM, chlorosulfonated polyethylene and latex. It is also used as vulcanizator. DPTT(TRA) is regulated for use in articles in contact with food as specified under FDA 21 CFR 175.105, 175.300, 177.1210 and under BgVV XXI, Categories 1-4 and “Sonder kategorie”.
