Glucose Isomerase from
Streptomyces murinus has been used to isomerize xylose to xylulose during the production of dihydrogen from Xylose. It has also been used in the synthetic enzymatic pathway for dihydrogen production from sucrose, to catalyze isomerization of glucose to fructose.
