This peroxide is nonexplosive and has a half-life of 4.3 h at
55°C. It has a very weak odor associated with its use .
Verwenden
This peroxide is an excellent catalyst for the polymerization of
vinyl compounds and particularly for the suspension copolymerization
of vinylidene chloride and vinyl chloride. It imparts
superior properties with respect to odor and thermal stability
than with those produced from conventional catalysts.
