Beschreibung
Cefotiam hexetil hydrochloride is an orally active, broad-spectrum cephalosporin
useful in the treatment of bacterial infections. It is a prodrug hydrolyzed in the GI tract
and absorbed as cefotiam. Cefotiam hexetil hydrochloride is reported to be especially
potent against Streptococci strains.
