Verwenden
4-(1-Ethoxyethoxy)styrene is used in the synthesis of microfabrication and semiconductors with good line edge roughness.
Synthese
To 80 parts by weight of ethyl acetate, p-hydroxystyrene 10 parts by weight and p-toluene sulfonic acid-pyridine salt 0.01 parts by weight were dissolved at room temperature. While stirring this solution, a mixture of ethyl vinyl ether 6.1 parts by weight and ethyl acetate 20 parts by weight was added dropwise at room temperature. After the dropwise addition and allowed to react for 24 hours at room temperature. To the reaction mixture, triethylamine was added and basified, after washing with deionized water the organic layer was concentrated, purified by column chromatography using hexane/ethyl acetate and the following monomers 4-(Ethoxyethoxy)styrene (M+-1) 10.5 parts by weight was obtained.
