mediated nitration of protein tyrosine residues. Its presence on proteins can be used as a marker for peroxynitrite formation
in vivo. Nitrotyrosine EIA Antiserum contains polyclonal (rabbit) IgG that detects nitrotyrosine. It is used in ELISAs designed to quantify nitrotyrosine.
