Chemische Eigenschaften
Two fluoroacrylate elastomers have been produced commercially on a very
limited scale, namely poly(l,l-dihydroperfluorobutyl acrylate) (XIII) and
poly(3-perfluoromethoxy-l,1-dihydroperfluoropropyl acrylate) (XIV).
The two polymers have similar properties with the latter having better low
temperature properties. In general, the polymers are inferior to the vinylidene
fluoride copolymers described previously. However, they do show superior
resistance to synthetic diester lubricants used in jet engines.
