GJG057 is a highly selective oral leukotriene C4 synthase (LTC4S) inhibitor with an IC₅₀ of 44 nM^[1]. Studies have shown that this compound exhibits anti-inflammatory and potent cytotoxic activity against cancer cells. The IC₅₀ values of GJG057 against various human cancer cell lines, including SGC-7901, HGC-27 and MCF-7, were 20.5 ± 5.93 μM, 3.3 ± 2.53 μM and 16.6 ± 0.75 μM, respectively. It is a potential drug for the treatment of allergic and inflammatory conditions and certain cancers, but has not yet been used in clinical practice.
