Miracloth is an autoclavable, quick filtrationmaterial for gelatinous homogenates that iscomposed of rayon-polyester with an acrylicbinder. It is ideal for filtration of clearedneutralized lysates during medium- andlarge-scale plasmid purification to preventcontamination with loosely adherent pelletmaterial and is useful for protoplast isolation.
