Fluperlapine is an agonist of the serotonin 5-HT6/5-HT7 receptors.
Stoffwechselwegen
Seven metabolites of fluperlapine are detected by
culturing with incubation of human hepatocytes. The
major metabolite is the N-oxide and the formation of
sulfates remains high although decreases with time in
the culture. Two glucuronides found in vivo are not
detected in any of the cultures.
