Anti-phospho-Tau (pSer⁴⁰⁴) antibody may be used in western blot (1:1000), immunoblot (1:1000) and immunohistochemistry.

Allgemeine Beschreibung

Tau is a microtubule-associated phosphoprotein that is present in the axons of nerve cells. It stabilizes microtubules and mediates the polymerization of tubulin. Phosphorylation of Tau regulates its cellular functions. Hyperphosphorylation of Tau has been linked to neurodegenerative disorders such as Alzheimer′s disease . Anti-phospho-Tau (pSer⁴⁰⁴) antibody specifically reacts with Tau (pSer⁴⁰⁴) (45-68 kDa) in humans, mice and rats.
