Beschreibung

This alkaloid from Vinca erecta Rgl. et Schmalh does not appear to be identical with that isolated from Aspidosperma duckei Hub. and A. macrocarpa Mart. This base is reported to have a specific rotation of [C\' 1 D + 98.6° (c 0.18, CHCI3). The structure has been assigned on the basis of chemical and spectroscopic evidence.
