Preparation
based in 2 Moore’s handling of the 3 moles Benzene-1,3-diaminehydrochloride (this product in the above may double the azo dyes as the main component of the mixture, and goods is usually two hydrochloric acid dyes by hydrates composition).
Definition
ChEBI: A hydrochloride that is the dihydrochloride of 4,4'-[1,3-phenylenebis(diazene-2,1-diyl)]di(benzene-1,3-diamine). Bismarck brown Y is a metachromatic dye which stains acid mucins yellow. It is also a constituent of Papanicolaou's EA solutions, used for cerv cal, and other smears.
Properties and Applications
brown. Brown powder. Soluble in water for yellow brown, slightly soluble in ethanol and soluble fiber element, insoluble in acetone, benzene, carbon tetrachloride, ceramic, and solvent. The strong sulfuric acid for brown, diluted into a red light brown; In nitric acid solution for orange, to yellow. The dye solution to join hydrochloric acid discoloration; Add 10% sodium hydroxide solution have orange precipitation. Used for wool, silk, leather, paper, bamboo, wood color, also used in the manufacture of color and solvent dye deposit.
