Production Methods
Decarbofuran is produced through the same general industrial chemistry used for other carbamate pesticides: coupling a substituted phenol with a methyl isocyanate–derived carbamoyl intermediate, followed by controlled purification and formulation. Commercial manufacture typically involves multi step fine chemical batch synthesis, solvent phase reactions under inert conditions, and downstream crystallisation or distillation to isolate the active ingredient
