Neon (20ne, 99.95%) is a useful research chemical.
Synthesis
A system of seven neon diffusion tower units in four cascades. The first cascade consists of 2 towers in parallel and the remaining four cascades consist of 1 tower each. If the discharge abundance is 60% of 22Ne gas, 600 ml per day can be produced, if the discharge abundance is 50% of 22Ne gas, 800 ml per day can be produced, if the discharge abundance is 40% of 22Ne gas, 1000 ml per day can be produced. The purity of the product gas can reach 99%.
