Preparation

Properties and Applications
blue. Blue powder. Slightly soluble in hot water, soluble in Sodium sulfide, almost colorless. In concentrated sulfuric acid for cobalt blue, dilution after blue precipitation, insoluble in other organic solvent. Used for cotton, viscose, linen fabric and vinylon/cotton blended fabric dyeing, also used in leather and paper dyeing.
