Uses
Anti-CNPase antibody produced in rabbit is suitable for flow cytometry at a working dilution of 1:200-1:500, immunohistochemistry at 1:100-1:200 and western blotting at 1:500-1:1000. It was used at a working dilution of 1:1000 as a primary antibody in western blotting of cerebrospinal fluid samples in a study.

Biological Activity
CNPase (2μ,3μ-cyclic nucleotide 3μ-phosphodiesterase) is associated with brain tubulin and acts as a microtubule-associated protein in promoting microtubule assembly and distribution. It is expressed primarily in committed oligodendroglial progenitors and terminally-differentiated oligodendrocytes and may be used as a marker of cell differentiation in the CNS.
