1-Bromoheptadecafluorooctane (perfluorooctyl bromide) is a perfluorocarbon. Poly(ethylene glycol)ylated polyester nanocapsules of perfluorooctyl bromide were surface-decorated with a RGD (arginine-glycine-aspartic acid) peptide, were used for tumor imaging.
