Description
(R,S)-Atenolol is a β1-adrenergic receptor antagonist with Ki values of 1.14 and 48.7 μM for β1 and β2, respectively. It has been reported that only the (S) enantiomer contributes to the beta-blocking effects of racemic atenolol.
