Description
Pizotifen malate, a derivative of benzocycloheptathiophene, is a tricyclic compound found to be a potent inhibitor of SR-2 receptor activity. In addition, it has been found to display vasoconstrictor activity in vivo. Studies on mice suggest that Pizotifen malate may have embryotoxic effects due to decreased value of mitotic indices in bone marrow cells. Pizotifen malate has also been reported to have acute antagonistic affects on central muscarinic receptors.More related product prices
