Description
Ticlopidine suppresses aggregation of thrombocytes and possesses antiaggregant activity. It is believed that its action is connected to its effect on thrombocyte membranes and the reduction in quantity of released adenosine diphosphate and serotonin, which facilitate aggregation of thrombocytes.
