説明
5α-dihydrotestosterone-d3 (16,16,17-d3) contains a stable deuterium label and is suitable for use as an internal standard for determining the concentration of this hormone in biological samples by chromatographic methods with tandem mass spectrometry (MS/MS).
In the body, 5α-dihydrotestosterone (DHT) has pronounced androgenic activity; its affinity for androgen receptors is higher than that of testosterone. The conversion of testosterone to 5α-DHT is catalyzed by 5α-reductase (5AR). 5α-DHT is an important biological marker in the detection of many diseases.
