Bis-PEG10-acid Usage And Synthesis
DescriptionBis-PEG9-acid is a PEG linker containing two terminal carboxylic acid groups. The hydrophilic PEG spacer increases solubility in aqueous media. The terminal carboxylic acids can react with primary amine groups in the presence of activators (e.g. EDC, or HATU) to form a stable amide bond.
UsesBis-PEG9-acid is used in the preparation of plasma-stable dimeric inhibitors of PSD-95-NMDA receptor interaction.
Biological ActivityBis-PEG10-acid is a PROTAC linker belonging to the PEG class. It can be used to synthesize a series of PROTAC molecules. It is a cleavable ADC linker for the synthesis of antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs).
