UsesSorbifolin, a flavone glucoside, can be isolated from the Pterogyne nitens. Sorbifolin has myeloperoxidase inhibitory and radical scavenging activities. Sorbifolin is also a MPO inhibitor with an IC50 value of 19.2 nM[1].
