Description1-isothiocyanato-PEG4-Alcohol is a crosslinker containing an hydroxyl group and isothiocyanato group. The hydroxyl group can undergo different reactions to further derivatize the compound. Isothiocyanate and its linkage isomer thiocyanate are ligands in coordination chemistry. The hydrophilic PEG spacer increases solubility in aqueous media.
Uses1-Isothiocyanato-PEG4-alcohol is a PEG-based PROTAC linker that can be used in the synthesis of PROTACs[1].
