White or almost white crystalline powder, odorless, bitter taste. Extremely slightly soluble in water, insoluble in ethanol, chloroform and other organic solvents, soluble in mineral acid or sodium hydroxide solution. It is unstable in neutral or alkaline aqueous solution, and weak alkaline reaction occurs in saturated aqueous solution.
1.As an emergency cure to restore cardiac function: commonly used in anaphylactic shock, drowning, infectious diseases, drug poisoning, surgical accidents and heart block caused by weak or sudden cardiac arrest. In case of complete cardiac arrest, intracardiac injection, effective artificial respiration and cardiac massage can be used. 2. For allergic diseases: Subcutaneous or intramuscular injection can treat allergic diseases, such as anaphylactic shock, urticaria, bronchial asthma, hooftis, etc. It is also effective for Chemicalbook allergic reaction caused by immune serum and vaccine. 3. Application in combination with local anesthetics: 0.1% epinephrine solution is added to every 100ml of local anesthetics to shrink local blood vessels, delay the absorption of local anesthetics, prolong the anesthetic time, and reduce the toxic reaction of anesthetics. 4. Topical use as local hemostatic: local use of 1:50000-1:100,000 solution can make local blood vessels constrict and stop the bleeding of nasal mucosa, uterus, gingiva or surgical site.
