Tazarotene Description
Tazarotene is an acetylenic retinoid prodrug of tazarotenic acid (sc-212992) with selective affinity for retinoic acid receptors RARβ and RARγ. Tazarotene also upregulates tazarotene-induced genes (TIGs), including the cell adhesion molecule TIG1 and the tumor-suppressor TIG3.
