Griseofulvin is an antibiotics which is extracted from the cultivation of the fermented liquid of the Penicilli - um griseofulvum .
Soluble in tetrachloroethane, acetone and chloroform, slightly soluble in methanol or ethanol, very slightly soluble in water. Odourless or almost odourless, taste bitter, on the thermal stability.
