Salbutamol (SALbutamol) is a short-acting β2 adrenergic receptor agonist used as an antiasthmatic agent, which effectively inhibits the release of histamine and other allergenic substances and prevents bronchospasm. Adding trace amounts of salbutamol to livestock feed can increase lean meat and meat exchange rate and reduce fat, but its toxicity is much higher than ractopamine with the same function. It is suitable for bronchial asthma, asthmatic bronchitis, bronchospasm, emphysema and other diseases.
