Application

Hypromellose acetate succinate as an enteric coating material is characterized by good film-forming properties, no plasticizers, and good solubility in the small intestine (duodenum). It has its own characteristics for increasing the absorption of drugs in the small intestine; hypromellose acetate succinate can also be used as a polymer carrier to prepare drug microcapsules, microspheres, and sustained or controlled release drug formulations.
