| Uses | 1-(Bromomethyl)-2-methyl-benzene is a useful synthetic intermediate. It is used as a reagent in preparation of trisubstituted pyrazoles as novel hepatitis C virus entry inhibitors. It can also be used to synthesize polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) such as 1,2:5,6-Dibenzanthracene (D417010). |
