Purpose:

-o-aminobenzamide is commonly used as an important intermediate in organic synthesis.

- It is an important raw material for the preparation of metal complexes such as bis (o-aminobenzamide) copper;

Preparation:

A common way to prepare anthranilide is through the reaction of benzoic acid and aniline:

1. Firstly, benzoic acid and aniline were added into the reaction bottle with molar ratio of 1:1;

2. Heat the reaction bottle, the reaction temperature is usually between 180-190 degrees Celsius;

3. Continuous stirring and heating, which usually takes several hours;

4. After the reaction, the reaction liquid is cooled and crystallized to obtain pure o-aminobenzamide.
