簡介
二甲基甲酰胺（英語：Dimethylformamide，縮寫DMF）是一種透明液體，能和水及大部分有機溶劑互溶。它是化學(xué)反應(yīng)的常用溶劑。純二甲基甲酰胺是沒有氣味的，但工業(yè)級或變質(zhì)的二甲基甲酰胺則有魚腥味，因其含有二甲基胺的不純物。名稱來源是由于它是甲酰胺（甲酸的酰胺）的二甲基取代物，而二個甲基都位于N（氮）原子上。 二甲基甲酰胺是高沸點的極性(親水性)非質(zhì)子性溶劑，能促進(jìn)SN2反應(yīng)機構(gòu)的進(jìn)行。 二甲基甲酰胺是利用甲酸和二甲基胺制造的。二甲基甲酰胺在強堿如氫氧化鈉或強酸如鹽酸或硫酸的存在下是不穩(wěn)定的（尤其在高溫下），并水解為甲酸與二甲基胺。
