四環(huán)霉素（Tetracycline），又稱四環(huán)素，一種聚酮類廣譜抗生素藥物的泛稱，這類藥物由鏈霉菌屬放線菌門細(xì)菌所產(chǎn)生，基本化學(xué)結(jié)構(gòu)均由四個環(huán)接合而成，可用于對抗多種細(xì)菌感染。最早被使用于治療霍亂，現(xiàn)代一般用于治療粉刺、酒槽鼻。有許多藥物都是由四環(huán)霉素衍生而來，這些藥物被統(tǒng)稱為四環(huán)素類抗生素。包括 Sumycin，Tetracyn，與Panmycin等商標(biāo)藥物，其成分都是屬于四環(huán)霉素。 它在世界衛(wèi)生組織基本藥物名單中，一種基本醫(yī)療衛(wèi)生制度中所需的，最重要的藥物清單。
