| In vitro | Anticancer agent 43 (compound 3a) selectively targets human tumor cells, exhibiting an SI50 of 28.94[1]. In HepG2 cells treated with 45 μM for 24 hours, it induces apoptosis via caspase 3, PARP1, and Bax-dependent pathways without affecting the G1/S phase transition[1]. It also causes DNA damage in HCT116, MCF-7, HepG2, and Balb/c 3T3 cells at concentrations of 0.7, 45, and 55 μM, as evidenced by tail DNA and Olive Tail Moment (OTM) measurements[1]. |
