Application characteristics

Benzalkonium bromide is a cationic surfactant, which has a good killing effect on bacteria such as pyogenic bacteria, intestinal bacteria, etc., and has a stronger killing ability on gram-positive bacteria than gram-negative bacteria.Weak on the virus, lipophilic viruses such as influenza, vaccinia, herpes and other viruses have a certain killing effect, hydrophilic virus is not effective, the killing effect of tuberculosis and fungi is very small, can only play an inhibitory effect on bacterial spores.

Benzalkonium bromide has antagonistic effect on anionic surfactants, such as soap, lecithin, washing powder, twain -80, etc.Iodine, potassium iodide, silver protein, silver nitrate, salicylic acid, zinc sulfate, boric acid (more than 5%), peroxides and amine drugs and calcium, magnesium, iron, aluminum and other metal ions have antagonistic effect on the product.

Indications

1. Sensitive to porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome (PRRS), influenza virus, virus, swine fever virus, parvovirus, pseudo-rabies virus and Newcastle disease virus.

2. Escherichia coli, pasteurella, staphylococcus aureus, swine erysipelas, mucositis, pullorum, salmonella, pyogenic anthrax, etc. are more sensitive.

Usage

Used for surgical instruments, skin and wound disinfection.
