| Description | BNS-22 is a DNA topoisomerase II (Topo II) inhibitor with IC?? values of 2.8 μM and 0.42 μM for human TopoIIα and TopoIIβ-mediated kinetoplast DNA decatenation, respectively. BNS-22 induces mitotic abnormalities and exhibits antiproliferative activity against human cancer cells. |
| In vitro | BNS-22 (0-30 μM, 24-48 hours) can inhibit the cell growth of the human cervical epidermoid carcinoma cell line HeLa and affect its cell cycle progression in a dose-dependent manner[1]. BNS-22 (0-30 μM, 0-6 hours) does not induce DNA damage and exerts an antagonistic effect on TOP2 toxin-mediated DNA damage[1]. |
