UV-P is a highly efficient benzotriazole based ultraviolet absorber with a CAS number of 2440-22-4. The product appearance is white to light yellow crystalline powder or particles, with a melting point range of 128-133 ℃. Its core feature is its ability to effectively absorb ultraviolet light in the 290-400 nanometer wavelength range, with almost no absorption of visible light, making it particularly suitable for colorless, transparent, and light colored products. The product has good thermal stability and can maintain stability under high temperature processing conditions. The application areas cover various polymer materials such as polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polystyrene (PS), polycarbonate (PC), polyester, acrylic resin, ABS resin, and epoxy resin. The recommended dosage is generally 0.1% -0.5% (thin products) or 0.05% -0.2% (thick products).
