Specifically, at concentrations of 1 and 10 μM, E-6123 curtails the rise in interleukin-6 mRNA levels and protein production induced by Thapsigargin (46.1 nM) at 4 and 8 hours, respectively. The investigation into E-6123, a PAF receptor antagonist, aims to elucidate its influence on Thapsigargin’s effect on interleukin-6 mRNA and protein levels, particularly regarding the role of simultaneously generated cell-associated PAF. |
