Ethyl enanthate, colorless transparent pineapple aroma liquid. Relative density 0.8817 (20°C). Melting point -66.1°C, boiling point 187°C. Refractive index 1.4100 (20°C). Insoluble in water, soluble in ethanol, ether. It is synthesized by esterification of heptanoic acid and ethanol catalyzed by sulfuric acid, and then neutralized, washed and distilled. Used for food, daily necessities, wine flavor.

1. Used as food flavoring agent, organic synthesis and spice preparation.

Mainly used in apricot, cherry, pear, pineapple, grape, peach, raspberry, banana, cream, cheese and other edible flavors and brandy, champagne, rum and other wine flavors; As the first fragrance agent, it is also used in fruit, cologne, rose and other daily chemical flavors.
