LicochalconeB is extracted from the Glycyrrhizainflate root. LicochalconeB inhibited amyloidβ (amyloidβ; Aβ420) self-aggregates (IC50=2.16μM) and decomposes pre-formed Aβ42 fibril, reducing metal-induced Aβ42 aggregation by chelating metal ions.
LicochalconeB has anti-tumor, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects.
