Loratadine is an antihistamine drug with high selectivity for peripheral nerve H1 receptors, strong action and long duration. It is a long-acting tricyclic antihistamine that competitively inhibits histamine H1 receptor and inhibits allergic symptoms caused by histamine. No significant anticholinergic and central inhibitory effects. Used to relieve symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis and to alleviate the symptoms of chronic urticaria and other allergic skin diseases
