Introduction:
Methyl palmitate, also known as methyl palmitate. Methyl palmitate is a raw material for surfactants and other fine chemical products. It is an excellent intermediate in the manufacturing of emulsifiers, wetting agents, stabilizers, rust inhibitors, and plasticizers. It can also be used for inter biological pheromones, biodiesel, cosmetic raw materials, and the preparation of plant acaricides.
Application:
Methyl Palmitate is a fatty acid ester essential oil that naturally occurs in many plant species. Methyl Palmitate concentration in cells are known to be modulated. In experimental studies with isolated Kupffer cells, Methyl palmitate exhibited inhibitory activity towards phagocytosis and decreases cell viability.
