Midostaurin is a tyrosine kinase inhibitor that selectively inhibits activating mutations of the KIT gene and suppresses the FLT3 receptor signaling pathway, thereby inhibiting the proliferation of cancer cells. For leukemia cells with ITD and TKD mutant FLT3 receptors or those overexpressing wild-type FLT3 and PDGF receptors, Midostaurin (Rydapt/midostaurin) can also induce apoptosis. Furthermore, Midostaurin (Rydapt/midostaurin) is capable of inhibiting the KIT signaling pathway, suppressing histamine release, and inducing mast cell apoptosis.
