| In vitro | NBD-125 (B-12) demonstrates a potent ability to activate RXRα transcription and significantly suppresses colon cancer cell proliferation, making it an effective inhibitor of β-catenin signaling. Its anti-proliferative effects are observed across a range of concentrations (0-80 μM) in several colon cancer cell lines, including Km12c, HCT116, and SW620. Detailed Western Blot Analysis reveals that, after a 15-hour incubation period across varying concentrations (0-50 μM, 0-60 μM, 0-80 μM), there is a notable decrease in c-Myc and Cdc42 protein levels, indicating a disruption in cellular signaling pathways critical for cancer cell growth. |
