Oxfendazole, the sulfoxide form of fenbendazole, is a broad spectrum benzimidazole anthelmintic used against roundworms, strongyles and pinworms for sheep, cattle, goats, and swine. It is a white to grey powder; insoluble in water, slightly soluble in aceton e, chlorofor m, Ether and methano l. Its chemical designation is [5-(phenylsulfinyl)-1H- benzimidazol-2-yl] carbamic acid methyl ester.
Anthelmintic (also spelled anthelminthic) is a chemical substance used to expel or destroy tapeworms in domestic animals .

Function and Application 
Oxfendazole is a new broad-spectrum insecticide. Its efficacy is more than twice higher than that of benzimidazole. For all kinds of gastrointestinal nematode adults of sheep, cattle and pigs, the worm reduction rate is 95-100% at 23.5-5mg/kg dose. The reduction rate for each stage larva was 91-98%. Also effective on Hymenolepis nana and Dictyocaulus, but the effect of poor pig whipworm. This product has low toxicity and good tolerance.
